About SocialKids

Founded by a mom who understands.

SocialKids was created by a passionate mom with a background in technology and finance who faced a personal challenge: her shy child needed a safe, welcoming space to develop communication and social skills.

Most traditional speech therapy and counseling practices either did not offer social skills group programs or their programs were located too far away to be accessible. Meanwhile, existing programs like those at ABA centers often felt overwhelming and too intense for a child with anxiety.

Seeing this gap, she decided to build something different: a nurturing, non-threatening environment where kids of all backgrounds and abilities could grow their social confidence at their own pace.

SocialKids also benefits from the expertise of her sister, a Middle School Science and Math Teacher and technology facilitator at a school district, who helps contribute to developing our engaging and effective curriculum.

At SocialKids, we believe every child deserves a place where they feel understood, supported, and empowered to build meaningful friendships and lifelong skills. Our approach blends fun, hands-on activities with compassionate guidance, making social learning accessible and enjoyable.
